so in YYH, there were mostly m/f canon ships by the end of the series 

but then Togashi married the author of Sailor Moon, Naoko Takeuchi, and started work on HxH. but unlike YYH, HxH has a TON of lgbt+ characters, topics, themes, and subtexts

so i wonder if it was Takeuchi’s influence that helped get those themes into HxH, since Sailor Moon is so well known for it’s lgbt+ themes, with it’s canon bi, gay, lesbian, and bigender characters
